When people click on an online ad, a link in an article or a QR code at a store, they’re frequently delivered to a special Landing Page on the company’s website, which offers information referenced in the ad, article or store POP.
What do companies with major B2B presence such as HubSpot, General Electric and Intel have in common? They are increasingly embracing the photo sharing site called Instagram to help enhance their marketing efforts.
That such big name companies (and lots of smaller ones) are using Instagram shouldn’t be surprising. Facebook thought enough of Instagram to pay $1 billion for the site in April 2012. Forty million photos are uploaded daily to Instagram, and the site claims some 90 million monthly active users. Of all social media users surveyed, about half (48 percent) report using Instagram more often, far surpassing any other social media channel, according to Exact Target.
Pictures tell a story much faster than words, which is why many savvy companies are turning to Instagram to enhance B2B marketing success.
